July Rock 50 Preview

H! Everyone,
The next hardcore show will happen on Saturday, July 16,2011 at 11.00 AM Pacific Time. It’s a “Best of” show which means we’re playing some of the best songs (my opinion) from July 2010 thru to July 2011.
There will not be a “Great Hard Rock and Metal Bands and Artists” segment for the July show. From top to bottom it’s all “Best of.”
OK, we’ll be playing Motorhead, Metallica, Triptykon, Ozzy, Slipknot, Exodus and a whole lot more.
If you like metal and hardcore, check out our show. It’s two hours long, and it ROCKS!

Hi Everybody.
It’s Bill here. First off, I want to thank you all for the support you’ve given me throughout the years. I love to play– whether it’s playing drums in Black Sabbath, making music with my own band or working with other musicians, period. Being able to do what I love for my whole life, pretty much, has been an honour and privilege.
When I started playing in Sabbath, there was an energy of truth about us. We believed in what we were saying, the music we were making and the lives we were living. As time has moved on, I’ve nurtured and tried to save a lot of what I learnt playing in Sabbath. During the more recent years at the Ozzfest concerts, I’ve found myself immersed in the musical rewards of playing in such a unique and devastatingly, powerfully effective Metal band. Sabbath have been, and are, my greatest teachers, and I am forever grateful for the musical journey so far.
Today, I love what’s happening in music. I’ve been given the rare opportunity to play bands I like – Classic and newer Metal – on our Rock 50 radio show. These bands energize me.
I am humbled to know many of you. Music lives and brings and maintains life. Music has always brought me through.

Hi Bill I heard about your show and am looking forward to listen to it this upcoming event …on the other hand do you play unsigned bands as well or just top bands you have mention above? if you do I like to take the opportunity to ask you if you support the LA unsigned bands theres is a lot of us and real good ones,but I really like to expose my band and presented to you,by if you are only accepting unsigned material if your response is yes well we need people like your self supporting the unsigned bands,my band is called HEAVYNESS a metal band form by four brothers…thank you for your time.

Henry does your band have a website?,I would be interested in hearing your music.Over on the Black sabbath Website they have a fan forum where us Sabbath Fanatics talk and gossip!! their is a thread for bands like yours to display your music.Good luck.

Hi Bill, will listen to ur Rock 50 radio show I’m sure it will be quality (Rock 50 is quite appropriate for me as I hit 50 years of rockin this month). Love ur intro on website – truly inspiring and passionate. My best (of many) Sabbath memories May 1978 Manchester Apollo Theatre, absolutely awesome gig, NME review said the band thought gig was ‘scary’ do u remember? Best wishes Andy G
