August Rock 50 Preview

H! Everyone,
If you like Metal and Hard Rock check out our show airing Saturday, August 18, 2012. Last month, I said I’d play another Blues segment in the second hour of the show, however, I’ve canceled that idea. Instead, I’ll play the entire Deep Purple CD titled “Machine Head,” featuring the great Jon Lord on keyboards/Hammond to honor his passing in July.
We will also be playing some solid, heavy – very heavy- Metal bands for you – i.e. Soilwork, Metallica and Lamb of God, as well as some Hard Rock/Jazz from Sabbath. We’ll have “Metal Gods” and Lemmy with Motorhead, as well as some brand new stuff. I guess at some point, probably next year, I’ll try to fit in another Blues segment.

Hi Everybody.
It’s Bill here. First off, I want to thank you all for the support you’ve given me throughout the years. I love to play– whether it’s playing drums in Black Sabbath, making music with my own band or working with other musicians, period. Being able to do what I love for my whole life, pretty much, has been an honour and privilege.
When I started playing in Sabbath, there was an energy of truth about us. We believed in what we were saying, the music we were making and the lives we were living. As time has moved on, I’ve nurtured and tried to save a lot of what I learnt playing in Sabbath. During the more recent years at the Ozzfest concerts, I’ve found myself immersed in the musical rewards of playing in such a unique and devastatingly, powerfully effective Metal band. Sabbath have been, and are, my greatest teachers, and I am forever grateful for the musical journey so far.
Today, I love what’s happening in music. I’ve been given the rare opportunity to play bands I like – Classic and newer Metal – on our Rock 50 radio show. These bands energize me.
I am humbled to know many of you. Music lives and brings and maintains life. Music has always brought me through.

Dear Bill Do you remember the day that you told OZZY, that the band was moving on with out him? Well the entire Sabbath fan base in the entire world!!! is really pissed that you are not in on this BLACK SABBATH endevor. this could be the last time you ever get to make rock and roll history AGAIN!. Well get your stubborn ass up and call ozz and fucking work it out >>>>MAN ITS JUST NOT BLACK SABBATH WITHOUT THE FOUR OF YOU… Let me tell I Put alot of my cash in all my Sabbath Memrobillia….Yours truly Gary Lindsey ,,A devoted sabbath fan!!!!!

Hi Bill when is Beyond Aston going to be released. I constantly visit your website expecting the big announcement but to mine and all your fans disappointment it never appears. Come on Bill pull your finger out and finish it. Is there any chance of you touring with your Band and coming home to England for some dates. I think your solo music is awesome and can not wait for the next instalment.
